He completed a general surgery residency at the same school and an OB/GYN internship at Panait Sarbu Hospital in Bucharest before coming to the U.S. to do a residency in OB/GYN at Flushing Hospital Medical Center in Queens, New York.

In addition to being board-certified, he’s also a Fellow at American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
