Your Gynecology and Women's Health Services in Hialeah, Florida

Comprehensive gynecology and womens health services in Hialeah, Florida are provided by First Class OBGYN, following well-woman guidelines from American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). Our board-certified gynecologist in Hialeah, Dr. Laviniu Anghel, provides expert, attentive care and offers routine well-woman visits while recognizing gynecological symptoms.

It is critical for women to learn what their body's norms are, as this can be the first sign of a problem. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) states there are no consistent screening methods for vaginal or vulvar cancers for women who are not presenting symptoms. A Pap test, vital to the health of the cervix, will not identify any of the other cancers. It is extremely important to monitor your body for changes, and be proactive in addressing your concerns. It's equally as important to listen to the signals your body is telling you, and be your own health advocate. When you notice something that doesn't feel right, a professional evaluation is the next best step. Our comprehensive women's health services are here to support you.

Comprehensive Women's Health Services Available to You

A well-woman visit is part of your preventative care and can help you create a reproductive life plan and review your health history. Our board-certified, multilingual team in Miramar provides these visits along with a full spectrum of gynecologic care--from cervical cancer screening to menopausal management and minimally invasive surgery.

The CDC recommends that cervical cancer screening begin at age 21, with Pap tests every three years for women in their twenties. For those 30 to 65, HPV testing or co-testing can extend the screening interval to five years when results remain normal. We serve women throughout South Florida, including Hialeah, and accept all insurance. Our practice specializes in advanced procedures like robotic surgery and bioidentical hormone therapy for menopause.

We support you in your journey to better understand your options and empower you to take control of your health.

Key Decision Points for Your Women's Health Journey

Scheduling your first well-woman visit is the first important step in managing your own personal health journey. According to ACOG, these visits are the building blocks of lifelong preventative care specific to each woman's needs, rather than routine, automatic exams, and a practical early step is verifying insurance. Our practice accepts all plans, including Medicaid and Medicare, which eliminates that worry for women across South Florida.

In Hialeah, the decision by women to see a menopause specialist (menopause specialist) is a pivotal choice that can bring clarity and relief from disruptive symptoms. Another decision to consider is vaginal rejuvenation in Hialeah (vaginal rejuvenation). All of these, along with the local resources and the comprehensive support of our practice give you the necessary tools to take control of your health and create a personalized care plan that suits your needs and lifestyle.

The complexity of your surgical or procedure needs also impact costs; an annual exam is less expensive than more complex procedures like robotic surgery or vaginal rejuvenation.
